President Trump’s executive order to declassify long-concealed files linked to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., leads to calls to release one more in particular.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. extended his gratitude to Trump for signing the executive order, and took to X (formerly Twitter), voicing his concerns about what he described as decades-long efforts by intelligence agencies to obscure the truth.
“The 60-year strategy of lies and secrecy, disinformation, censorship, and defamation employed by Intel officials to obscure and suppress troubling facts about JFK’s assassination has provided the playbook for a series of subsequent crises,” he stated, directly referencing major historical events such as Vietnam, 9/11, and COVID-19.
According to Kennedy, these crises have eroded the country’s democratic ideals, accelerating what he termed as “the subversion of our exemplary democracy by the Military/Medical Industrial Complex.”
Kennedy also acknowledged Trump’s role in bringing these files into public view. “Thank you, President Trump, for trusting American citizens and for taking the first step down the road towards reversing this disastrous trajectory,” he wrote, highlighting the importance of transparency for both the families involved and the American public.
This monumental decision from Trump came as the former president signed an executive order a day earlier, citing the vital need for public access to over five decades of classified records.
The official document stated, “More than 50 years after the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Federal Government has not released to the public all of its records related to those events. Their families and the American people deserve transparency and truth.”
It further explained the importance of releasing the files in “the national interest.”
A video shared on X by Trump aide Margo Martin captures the moment Trump reviewed and signed the executive order.

Pointing out the significance of this action, Trump called it “a big one,” acknowledging that “a lot of people have been waiting for this—for years, for decades.”
The release coincided with mounting pressure on Trump to declassify additional critical information. Tennessee Republicans Sen. Marsha Blackburn and Rep. Tim Burchett are among those urging the release of sealed files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s activities.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Blackburn made her position clear. “Jeffrey Epstein built a disgusting global sex trafficking network that caused irreparable damage to countless women.”
“Americans deserve to know exactly who was affiliated with this network. This is not about celebrities—it’s about what happened to victims and survivors,” she stated.
Blackburn has long called for transparency regarding Epstein’s flight logs and Ghislaine Maxwell’s unredacted “black book,” and now advocates for the release of additional evidence, including prison footage and communication records leading up to Epstein’s controversial death.
Similarly, Rep. Burchett has expressed renewed commitment to the cause under the current Republican-led Congress, asserting that the American people deserve clarity and accountability in what remains an unresolved chapter in U.S. history.

Not very likely any of the co-conspirators in JFK’s assassination are still alive. So what the FBI and CIA are really afraid of is the American people will finally see just how corrupt and evil and despicable the intelligence community really is. The JFK and RFK assassinations were politically motivated most likely orchestrated by J. Edgar Hoover himself. It was common knowledge he hated RFK for obvious reasons. And since JFK appointed his brother hatred of JFK was pretty easy to see.
