Former President Donald Trump claimed that President Joe Biden “hates” Vice President Kamala Harris, almost as much as he despises Trump himself.
During a rally in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Trump mentioned Biden’s departure from the presidential race, describing it as an “overthrow” while suggesting that Biden struggles to admit it wasn’t “voluntary.”
Addressing the crowd on Wednesday, Trump remarked, “Sleepy Joe, although, Joe’s looking pretty good lately. I tell you, he’s looking pretty good compared to Kamala… I said, you know, this guy’s starting to look sharper.”
“He’s starting to look sharper because we’re comparing… and he’s angry at her,” Trump added. “And, he hates her. The only question is, I think he hates her almost as much as he hates me.”
Trump said that Biden “can’t take much more” after being ousted from the presidential race.
“He’s having a hard time saying, you know, he did it voluntarily. He didn’t. They pulled out,” the 45th president noted.
Trump cited the 25th Amendment of the Constitution, which empowers the Vice President in the case of the President’s death or resignation, as what Democrats did to force Biden out of the 2024 race.
“That’s what they did. And, they said, ‘You’re sick. You’re not going to go on.’ He got fourteen million votes,” Trump asserted.
“He got fourteen, think of it, he got fourteen, she got none. This was really, this was an overthrow.”
Harris now appears to be distancing herself from some of the administration’s policies, while Biden seemingly attempts to link her to their shortcomings.
Speaking at a recent White House press briefing, Biden declared, “We’re singing from the same song sheet.”
“She helped pass all the laws,” he pointed out. “She was a major player in everything we’ve done, including passage of legislation, which we were told we could never pass.”
Reportedly, Biden is privately frustrated, feeling that Harris doesn’t acknowledge his achievements or mention him enough, and is concerned that the Democratic Party has shifted focus away from him, according to NBC News.
In another instance, Biden seemingly undermined comments Harris made regarding Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Harris accused DeSantis of “playing political games” in crisis situations instead of prioritizing public duties.
An aide allegedly claimed the governor refused a call from Harris, believing it was politically motivated.
“In these crisis situations — these are the height of emergency situations — is just utterly irresponsible, and it is selfish, and it is about political gamesmanship, instead of doing the job that you took an oath to do, which is to put the people first,” Harris sniped.
However, DeSantis denied receiving any call from Harris, telling reporters at a press conference on Monday, “I didn’t know that she had called. I’m not sure who they called. They didn’t call me.”
“It wasn’t anything that anybody in my office did, in terms of saying it was political,” he added.
DeSantis further criticized Harris, by saying she had “no role” in the ongoing crisis due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
“In fact, she’s been vice president for three and a half years. I’ve dealt with a number of storms under this administration,” he remarked.
“She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts. And so what I think is selfish is her trying to blunder into this. She has no role in this process.”
President Biden interrupted Harris during her appearance on “The View,” countering her remarks to report that he had personally spoken with DeSantis.
“The governor of Florida has been cooperative. He’s said he’s gotten all that he needs,” Biden said on Tuesday morning.
“I talked to him yesterday,” he added. “I said “No, you’re doing a great job. It’s all being done well. We thank you for it.” And I literally gave him my personal phone number to call.”
Someone is evidently lying like h##l and from all that has been coming out of Kamala Harris’s mouth and her supporters, I’m almost positive it’s them.
