Disaster Debate Has Democrats Thinking of the Nuclear Option

1 min read

Immediately after the debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, Democrats melted down on air over their candidate’s horrible performance.

Within minutes of the first question being asked, it became clear that President Biden was suffering.

The president who spent seven days preparing for the event at Camp David appeared weak and feeble on stage.

His voice was hoarse, quiet, and he often mumbled and stuttered his way through answers. His campaign quickly put a statement out to reporters that Biden’s apparent frailness was due to a cold.

The highlight reel moments rolled in as he often veered off topic in the middle of questions, somehow turning a question about abortion into a defense of his handling of immigration.

In another gaffe, he proclaimed he “finally beat Medicare.”

“This is an honest-to-God nightmare,” said one unnamed Biden ally. “I can’t believe what I’m watching. I am watching us lose this election in slow motion.”

He was unable to answer to Trump’s hits, staring back lost as Trump called him “the worst president in the history of our country.”

“There are no two ways about it. That was not a good debate for Joe Biden,” Kate Bedingfield, who served as Biden’s longtime communications aide, said on CNN after the debate.

Her sentiment is evidently shared. Immediately after the debate, CNN’s panel kicked off by suggesting that replacing Biden as the nominee was the only option left.

One House Democratic member from a swing state said to The Hill, “This was a disaster. Biden’s team needs to convince him to withdraw and have an open convention.”

“There’s been a lot of chatter in our circles about Newsom,” one Democratic strategist said about the California governor.

“It’s hard to argue that Biden should be our nominee,” said a longtime campaign operative.

Biden Reacts

The president and first lady Jill Biden appeared calm after the debate, taking questions from reporters at a Waffle House.

“I think we did well,” Biden said.

When asked if he had any concerns about his performance, he said he didn’t.

“No. It’s hard to debate a liar. The New York Times pointed out he lied 26 times,” he said, also bringing up his sore throat.

Vice President Kamala Harris defended Biden on CNN.

“Yes, there was a slow start, but it was a strong finish,” she said. “And what became very clear through the course of the night is that Joe Biden is fighting on behalf of the American people.”

  1. Fighting on behalf of the American people? Like flooding our country with illegals at record numbers, which Includes violent, criminals, terrorists,, gangbangers,, unpressed numbers of mules, bringing in Unprecedented amounts of fentanyl that are killing unprecedented numbers of Americans – – – in the neighborhood of 100,000 per year. Yes Biden really cares about the American people!

  2. The Dems did this themselves since Joes campaign for WH & prior 50 years in office
    Joe does Zero

  3. How delusional these DemonRats can be,
Even last night did not shake their misplaced confidence in an imbecile who has physical infirmity from end to end (lost whereabouts upstairs and dysfunctional extremities downstairs to get where he wants to get).
Biden demonstrated that he is a dysfunctional President based on his lifetime leadership of a dysfunctional family that originated in Scranton.
The noble thing (if he can comprehend) is for him to join President Carter in Hospice (remember Roslyn’s bed is empty).

  4. “… Joe Biden is fighting
on behalf of the American people.”
He’s fought for people. ILLEGAL PEOPLE!
    What a crock!
