Trump’s Latest Actions Point to Potential VP

1 min read

Former President Donald Trump is attending an event with a governor who is likely high on Trump’s vice president shortlist.

Trump will travel to South Dakota and join Governor Kristi Noem for a rally that features her as a the special guest.

The state Republican Party’s “Monumental Leaders Rally” will take place in Rapid City on September 8th, marking the first time Trump visits South Dakota since 202o.

At that time, he attended a Fourth of July celebration at Mount Rushmore during his presidency, which became the center of an unfounded rumor that alleged he asked Noem about the possibility of adding his own face to the monument.

Noem is a strong Trump supporter who cited his enduring popularity in declining to launch her own bid for the White House in 2024.

“The fact is, none of them can win as long as Trump’s in the race. And that’s just the facts. So why run if you can’t win?” Noem said in an interview on Fox News.

She said, though she’d be “shocked” if Trump asked her to run beside him on the 2024 ticket, she’d definitely “consider it”.

Trump Asked About Ramaswamy

Trump called in to Glenn Beck’s Blaze TV show where the host asked him if he had given any consideration to fellow candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

“Well, I think he’s great. Look, anybody that said I’m the best president in a generation … I have to like a guy like that,” Trump said, referring to Ramaswamy’s comments during the GOP debate that Trump was the best president of his lifetime.

“He’s a smart guy. He’s a young guy. He’s got a lot of talent. He’s a very, very, very intelligent person,” Trump continued. “He’s got good energy, and he could be in some form of something. I tell ya, I think he’d be very good. I think he’s really distinguished himself.”

Ramasway’s poll numbers picked up after the debate to place him solidly in third behind Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

  1. Noem would be a great VP choice. She & Trump should be unbeatable. After Trump steps down in four years, she can run with Vivek as her VP. They would be young, energetic & nearly unstoppable.
Four more years of Trump & then sixteen years of Noem/Vivek is just what our country needs!
