Hunter Biden’s Former Partner Exposes Business Calls to Father

1 min read

A former business partner of Hunter Biden testified that the president’s son called his father during business meetings while he worked for Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

Lawmakers who attended the closed-door testimony of the younger Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, said Hunter put his father on speakerphone during business meetings dozens of times.

Archer answered questions for the House Oversight Committee for about four hours.

Representative James Comer (R-KY) said Joe Biden was brought into meetings to sell “the brand” of the Biden family.

Representative Daniel Goldman (D-NY) attempted to brush off the meetings, saying, “As he described it, it was all casual conversation, niceties, the weather, what’s going on. There wasn’t a single conversation about any of the business dealings that Hunter had” despite the calls intentionally taking place during business meetings.

He said Archer testified that Hunter instead felt the need to give “the illusions of access to his father” to his Burisma employers.

Archer claimed not to know anything about an alleged bribe to the Biden family that a former Burisma executive mentioned to an FBI informant.

The Alleged Bribe

Comer subpoenaed the FBI last month to obtain an FBI document with a tip regarding “the exchange of money for policy decisions” involving Burisma when Joe Biden was vice president.

The tip was produced by a longtime, paid FBI informant who clams to have firsthand knowledge of the event and direct contact with the person responsible for the payout.

He also claims to possess 15 audio recordings of phone calls between himself and Hunter Biden as well as then-Vice President Hoe Biden.

Senator Chuck Grassley said the source can not be verified at the moment, but the FBI should do its job.

“We aren’t interested in whether or not the accusations against Vice President Biden are accurate or not. We’re responsible for making sure the FBI does its job and that’s what we want to know,” he told Fox News earlier this month.
