The Wall Street Journal revealed new information from a classified report that was provided to the White House and senior members of Congress. The intelligence report, from the US Energy Department, concluded the COVID pandemic likely originated from a Chinese lab leak.
The Energy Department’s assessment, which marks a shift from its previously undecided stance, reportedly is based on new intelligence.
Although the agency made the conclusion with “low confidence”, it joins the Federal Bureau of Investigation in ultimately blaming a Chinese laboratory for the virus that has killed nearly 7 million people worldwide.
The FBI completed its assessment in 2021, concluding that the pandemic resulted from a lab leak with “moderate confidence”.
Two other agencies, including the CIA, have yet to draw a conclusion.
White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan responded to the WSJ’s reporting, saying, “There is a variety of views in the intelligence community. Some elements of the intelligence community have reached conclusions on one side, some on the other. A number of them have said they just don’t have enough information to be sure.”
Republican members of Congress issued statements over the day as the news spread.
Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) shared the report on Twitter, pointing out that “For years, Anthony Fauci and Biden officials called this a conspiracy.”
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AK) took a more measured approach, tweeting, Re. China’s lab leak, being proven right doesn’t matter. What matters is holding the Chinese Communist Party accountable so this doesn’t happen again.”
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), an early proponent of the lab leak theory, tweeted simply, “Conspiracy theorists – 100 Media – 0.”
Even a Democrat chimed in.
Representative Seth Molten (D-MA) declared he was “not entirely surprised” by the Energy Department’s determination.
“The Chinese have mishandled COVID at every step of the way, are trying to sweep it under the rug, trying to try a strategy of zero covid that utterly failed,” he told CNN’s Jim Acosta.
“For it to come out that the whole thing started because of mismanagement, I mean, look, we need to see whether this is true, but if it is, I don’t find it surprising at all.”
Every new development leans to the fact that all the so-called government experts, including Fauci, didn’t really know what they were talking about. The biggest problem is that it now appears that all those Covid jabs are causing widespread early sudden deaths among younger people who are not supposed to be dying! Even the life insurance industry actuaries are worried about going bankrupt paying out for all these early deaths.
It isn’t that they didn’t know what they were talking about, it is that they all lied to everyone about covid. Then to make matters worse they forced a vax on people knowing that it was going to kill them, some sooner than others.
Seems that President Trump was right in calling it ” the China virus”.
So, when is the leftists’ golden boy, Fauchi, going to be indicted and imprisoned?
I think Fauci DID know what he was talking about. But, what he was saying wasn’t what we were hearing. From reports I have read in the ( mostly right wing ) media (the MSM won’t touch this ) the development of covid started as far back as 2005.
I have seen the virus identified as SARS-Cov-2. If you remember, SARS was the Southeast Asia Respiratory Virus. It supposedly originated in SE Asia, and spread from there. The next one was MERS, the Middle Eastern Respiratory Virus. It acted in a similar way, but was rumored to be a bit worse.
I have also heard and seen reports that Fauci, Bill Gates, and other High Tech types were actively engaged in trying to use the covid virus to reduce the population. That’s a bit frightening to think about. If true, it’s almost worse than treason!
We do need to figure out what happened, and fast, before most of us become the excess population that are targeted for elimination.
