The Biden administration is increasingly reaching out to popular TikTokers and other social media platform influencers to push politics on potential young voters ahead of his expected reelection campaign.
President Biden’s digital strategy team is reportedly connecting with hundreds of influencers throughout the country who would push Biden’s agenda specifically to users who don’t follow the White House or the Democrat Party on various platforms, according to Axios.
The effort is of such importance to Biden that he named Rob Flaherty as an assistant of the president, which carries the same rank as press secretary.
Flaherty and four staffers will work in the White House and have their own briefing room where influencers could work in-person from. The influencers will allegedly be unpaid.
“We actually asked the White House, ‘When are we going to get press briefing passes,’” 20-year-old TikToker Harry Sisson told Axios. “They were actually were very responsive to it.”
One of the efforts earliest promos came last September, when the White House got TikToker Daniel Mac, who asks drivers of expensive cars what they do for a living, to coordinate with Biden on the question at the Detroit Auto Show.
In the clip, Biden pushes the production of electric vehicles. It has over 38 million views on TikTok.
“We’re trying to reach young people, but also moms who use different platforms to get information and climate activists and people whose main way of getting information is digital,” Deputy Chief of Staff Jen O’Malley told Axios.
The increased interest in social media ironically comes as Biden expressed willingness to ban TikTok or force its sale due to its Chinese government connection.
The move is an expected response to the overwhelming following former President Donald Trump has been able to amass and keep as he carries out his 2024 election campaign.

If these young people are dumb enough to believe in Biden then they belong in the democrat party. Many will eventually grow up and gain enough life experience to recognize the damage Biden and the radical democrat have and are doing to the United States🇺🇸
