Chaos erupted inside a Minneapolis Catholic school Wednesday morning after a gunman opened fire during Mass, killing two children and injuring 17 others.
The tragedy quickly ignited political debate, with Squad member, Rep. Ilhan Omar, using the horrific scene to demand sweeping federal gun control, even as investigators revealed the attacker was a Minnesota resident.
The bloodshed unfolded at Annunciation Catholic School as students from kindergarten through eighth grade gathered in church pews for morning services.
Witnesses described the horror of gunfire shattering stained-glass windows and children screaming as bullets struck the congregation.
MSNBC just brought on Ilhan Omar to tell Americans that they deserve to lose their 2nd amendment rights.
Why hasn't this radical islamist jihadist been deported yet? She calls our God-given right a "problem that the rest of the world doesn't have."

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara described the rampage as “evil” and “a deliberate act of violence against innocent children and other people worshipping.”
The shooter was identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, born Robert Westman, who legally changed his name in 2020 after declaring a female identity.
FBI Director Kash Patel announced the case is being investigated as “an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics.”
Authorities confirmed Westman turned the gun on himself after the attack, leaving behind a trail of devastation that sent parents running to the scene in panic.

Two young victims, ages eight and ten, were killed in the pews, while 14 other children and three adults sustained injuries.
Hospitals in the Twin Cities scrambled to handle the influx of wounded as the community reeled from the carnage.
It marked a horrifying first week back at school for families who had only just returned their children to classrooms.
As investigators pieced together Westman’s motives, Democratic leaders wasted no time tying the attack to their long-running calls for stricter gun legislation.
Rep. Ilhan Omar appeared on “The Weeknight” and argued that Minnesota’s firearm restrictions are ineffective without matching federal laws.
“In Minnesota, we have strong gun laws, but Indiana is not that far away from us,” Omar began. “And so we have to recognize as, you know, people who live in the United States.”

“A community like Minneapolis or just the state of Minnesota taking action does not prevent our neighbor from coming and harming one of our community members,” she claimed.
Omar doubled down, insisting only nationwide restrictions could address what she described as a uniquely American crisis.
She pointed to other countries that enacted sweeping bans after their first encounters with school shootings.
“In our country in order to continuously make excuses on why we are not going to take a collective action on a federal level that collectively addresses this problem is beyond me,” Omar continued.
“And I want the mothers in this country to rise up and to recognize that for the love of the Second Amendment, for the love of our gun culture, we have to have a greater love for our kids.”
Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota also pushed for a nationwide ban on so-called “assault weapons,” citing the Catholic school rampage as proof that current restrictions fall short.
“As you reported, he is dead, but more will, I’m sure, come out about his motive and why he would commit such a horrific act,” Klobuchar said.
“Of course makes me think about guns and all the work we’ve done to ban these automatic rifles and to do something when it comes to the background checks and everything, and we keep getting thwarted.”

She called for “better” gun laws on a national level, arguing that tightened restrictions can’t only exist at the state level.
“It’s got to be nationally on these assault weapons,” Klobuchar added. “And that is the first thing there for the military, they should be for the police. They are not for madmen like this person.”
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer weighed in as well, posting on social media that he was “horrified” by the massacre.
“I’m thankful for the first responders on the scene. Students and teachers should not be putting their lives on the line just by going back to school. We must do more to stop gun violence in America,” he wrote.

While national Democrats seized the moment to advocate for expanded laws, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey ignited outrage with comments that many saw as dismissive toward people of faith.
During a press conference hours after the shooting, Frey criticized the notion of offering prayers.
“Don’t just say this is about thoughts and prayers right now. These kids were literally praying. It was the first week of school. They were in a church,” Frey pointed out.

“These are kids that should be learning with their friends. They should be playing on the playground. They should be able to go to school or church in peace without the fear or risk of violence.”
His words drew a quick response from critics, including former Georgia Rep. Vernon Jones, who accused Democrats of abandoning religion.
“After the Minneapolis murders by a liberal democrat trans, Minneapolis Mayor, Jacob Frey @Jacob_Frey, @cnn’s liberal hack @DanaBashCNN and other democrats are now saying it’s not about thoughts and prayers any more. Are democrats now abandoning prayer?” Jones posted.
Frey also attempted to redirect the narrative by warning against hostility toward the transgender community.

“Anybody who is using this as an opportunity to villainize our trans community or any other community out there has lost their sense of common humanity,” he said.
“We should not be operating out of a place of hate for anyone. We should be operating from a place of love for our kids. Kids died today.”
The mayor claimed he had already heard of hostility being directed at transgender individuals and cautioned against what he described as scapegoating.
HOW ABOUT WE DO A FEDERAL BAN ON MUSLIMS THAT DON’T WANT TO COMPLY WITH THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATE AND DEPORT THEM ALL. THEY HATE THERE COUNTRY, THEY HATE OUR COUNTRY, YET THEY KEEP TRYING TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY LIKE T HERES. “DEPORT THEM ALL!”
Quick response to Illhan Omar. No! Her state already has gun jaws and yet a mental case murdered children in Chruch. How about democrats start locking up all the mental cases in our society, that they seem to love so much. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. More of the same BS from the progressive communist in our government. How about arming the teachers to protect the students. Gun free zones are open targets for killers, but moronic democrats can’t or won’t comprehend this fact.
Of course Omar wants a gun ban so that the Muslims can take over. She’s a demonic reprobate.
Just like any good commie, Omar wants to take away our firearms just as they do in any to totalitarian country. And in line with the communist agenda, I am certain she supports all of the sexual perversion in our country. I would recommend that we build plenty of mental institutions where these sexually confused people can be locked away from society and receive treatment for their mental illness.
Article VI of Constitution
“.. any legislation contrary to the Constitution is NOT valid.. ..”
Most of Congress probably have no ideal what the supreme law of the is..
How about banning “trans” people–they’ve been responsible for about 5 mass shootings over the past several years.
I’ve detested the idea of corporate punishment – blaming others for what one person does – since at least the 7th grade. On the day this atrocity happened there were something on the order of well over 100 MILLION gun owners who didn’t do anything wrong yet the likes of omar and jacob and amy would willingly punish them by denying their Constitutional rights. If that isn’t corporate punishment I certainly don’t see what else it could be.
