Cheney Shrieks Back After Trump Labels Her A Lunatic

2 mins read

Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) hit back at Donald Trump following a series of jibes the returning president hurled at her during a speech on his inauguration day.

Trump addressed a crowd at the Capitol’s Emancipation Hall, taking aim at Cheney while mentioning a pardon granted to her by President Joe Biden during his final hours in office.

“Why are we helping some of these people? Why are we helping Liz Cheney? She’s a disaster — she’s a crying lunatic,” Trump said.

“One day, when you don’t want to kill people in wars, they turn against you,” he added.

“Liz Cheney hated the concept of not going to war with everybody. ‘Let’s kill everybody. Let’s spend a lot of money on military equipment.’ You know, where her father works, right?”

Trump did not stop there. He slammed Cheney and her fellow members of the January 6 congressional committee, accusing its members of destroying evidence critical to their investigations.

“They deleted everything,” he alleged. “There’s virtually nothing left, so that’s a criminal offense. If that were a civil case, it would be a criminal offense if that happened civilly.”

Cheney immediately took to her keyboard to clap back on social media, directing criticism right back at Trump.

“Trump’s remarks in the Capitol Visitor Center today were a reminder that neither lies nor the liar who tells them get better with age,” she posted.

She defended the committee, adding, “The Select Committee evidence is available on multiple websites and, as a criminal defendant, Donald Trump has had access to all the transcripts for years.”

Cheney didn’t hold back, reminding her followers of the events on January 6, noting, “Remember Trump’s character: He sat in his dining room watching on television as his supporters attacked our Capitol and brutally assaulted law enforcement. For hours, he refused to instruct the mob to leave. The truth will never change.”

On his way out of office, President Biden issued a series of preemptive pardons not only for select individuals but also for his own family.

Among those receiving pardons were Dr. Anthony Fauci, former Joint Chiefs of Staff chair Mark Milley, and all nine members of the January 6 Committee.

Biden justified the decision in a statement, saying those pardoned were unfairly targeted politically.

“I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics,” he wrote on Twitter.

“But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing. Baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety, and financial security of targeted individuals and their families.”

Dr. Fauci responded with gratitude. “Let me be perfectly clear: I have committed no crime and there are no possible grounds for any allegation or threat of criminal investigation or prosecution of me,” he told POLITICO.

He went on to say that the very suggestion of wrongdoing has caused serious stress to him and his family.

“The mere articulation of these baseless threats, and the potential that they will be acted upon, create immeasurable and intolerable distress for me and my family,” he added.

He did, however, note his appreciation for Biden’s intervention, stating, “That’s why he acknowledges and appreciates the action that President Biden has taken today on my behalf.”

The president’s pardons extended to members of his own family, including his brother James Biden, as well as Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John Owens, and Francis Biden.

These pardons were issued just hours before Biden’s term officially ended.
During his big Capitol One Arena inaugural address, Trump wasted no time reacting to the situation.

“Did you know that Biden, while I was making my speech, pardoned his whole family?” he asked the crowd, which greeted the news with boos.

“The brother, the whole deal was pardoned,” Trump continued. “Can you imagine that — while I was making my speech?”

Later, speaking from the Oval Office, he commented on Biden’s actions. “He didn’t tell me, no no,” Trump said when asked if he had been informed of the pardons in advance.

“I was surprised by that,” Trump confessed, before adding, “It’s bad precedent, obviously.”

  1. Except she is a delusional demonic lunatic, just like Fauci. It’s all come out, and partially because of Judy Miscovits. Fauci literally tried to destroy her when she found out what was in the vaccines. He’s demonic and evil and he’s the ultimate liar.

  2. Did Biden issue the pardons because he feared lawfare against his comrades like the lawfare they wielded against Trump for four years or did he fear prosecution for the many crimes his comrades committed? I think the latter.

    • You’re right. She sure is bold sitting behind that pardon. They say that a pardon is not an admission of guilt but in the dems and Biden’s family cases, it just proves guilt.

  3. Cheney is a criminal. She knows what they did was illegal. That is why all their evidence disappeared. She needs to be tried and so do the rest especially the J6 bunch in congress. Age limits need to be esbalished and term limits, and all need to be watched like a hawk and kicked out ASAP.

The whole Biden family are grifters. They all deserve the same. Senile Biden is not too far gone because he feared the retribution! A whole bunch of criminals who deserve jail time after their trials. But Joe sheltered them. Fortunately their days of ripping off the USA are at an end.

They are gone but what ever they do now we must hold them accountable. They are only sheltered for past crimes! Thank god and Greyhound or the Airforce One they are gone from the capitol and power and Trump is back. Yeah!!!

  4. “…On his way out of office, President Biden issued a series of preemptive pardons not only for select individuals but also for his own family…”

I hate to be the one to break this to you…

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PREEMPTIVE PARDON!
We can’t allow the Commie Biden Cabal to create it!
    They cannot stand!

  5. She is a criminal…and they have the nerve to send Trump through all those baseless court cases to try to make him bomb in the election. I am glad people saw through it. So now they say Trump is a felon….but he was unjustly convicted. What the faux J-6 Committee did to try to “get Trump” and prevent him from running is a crime which needs to be rectified. And I hope and pray that the J-6ers who were jailed or on probation will be pardoned and back home with their families where they belong ASAP! From what I hear, some of the people working in the jails are criminals for the treatment they have given these patriots. (Punching them, abusing them, spitting in their food, etc.) – This is something we might see in a 3rd world country.
