Podcast host Joe Rogan gave a surprise Election Eve endorsement to Republican nominee Donald Trump following his viral interview on the Spotify show.
He made the shocking announcement while promoting his Monday interview with pro-Trump PAC backer, Elon Musk, on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
“If it wasn’t for him we’d be f**ked,” Rogan remarked Musk. “He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.”
“For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump,” Rogan added in his tweet on the Musk-owned platform.
The great and powerful @elonmusk.
If it wasn’t for him we’d be fucked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.
For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump.

The podcast host’s choice to back Trump is a departure from endorsing Independent presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders in 2020, and admitting to be a “fan” of fellow Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. earlier this year.
In 2022, Rogan noted that he was “not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form,” which clearly changed after his three-hour interview with Trump on Oct. 25.
During the show, the former Commander-In-Chief goaded the comedian into endorsing him by noting the Musk had done so already.
“He gave me the nicest endorsement too. Tough. He said, ‘The country’s gonna fail.’ You should do the same thing, Joe, because you cannot be voting for Kamala,” Trump said at the time, prompting Rogan to laugh.
“Kamala! You’re not a Kamala person,” he added. “I know you. I’ve watched you! I know him better than he — you know what? Without speaking to you, I think I know you maybe almost as well as your wife.”
Trump was thrilled at the news that Rogan had endorsed him on Monday night, which he shared with a crowd at his rally in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
“I have some more big news now. I’m just getting this right now,” he told his supporters. “So somebody that’s very, very respected asked me to do his show two weeks ago, and I said, ‘Why not?’”
“And to me, it’s very big because he’s the biggest there is, I guess, in that world by far … And his name is Joe Rogan and he’s never done this before. And it just came over the wires that Joe Rogan just endorsed me,” Trump noted.
“That’s so nice. And he doesn’t do that,” he continued. “He’s not a person that does endorsements, but he did an endorsement. So I just want to say Joe Rogan, Elon Musk and Megyn [Kelly], thank you very much.”
During Musk’s episode on the podcast, he and Rogan discussed the Democrats’ use of political lawfare against Trump.
“If Trump doesn’t win, this will be the last real election in America,” Musk remarked. “They’re doing all the things that they accused Trump of doing … I mean, the sheer number of hoaxes that the Democratic Party is pushing over and over again … Come on, man, this is too far.”
Musk claimed that Democrats target people first then “figure out the crime afterwards.”
“They decided SpaceX was the target. They just figured out the crime afterwards, which is so crazy because that’s exactly what they’re saying Trump is going to do if he gets into office,” he pointed out. “They’re doing all the things that they accused Trump of doing.”
“And they want to silence opposition,” Rogan noted. “That’s all it is. And people can’t see that. And they want to call Trump a fascist.”
“What they’re doing is they’re preying on low information voters who aren’t engaged actively on social media who don’t have the time to look through everything,” he concluded.
