Harris’ Pathetic New Voter Strategy Relies on Republicans

2 mins read

Vice President Harris begged Republican voters to join her campaign’s efforts to take down former President Donald Trump.

“No matter your party, no matter who you voted for last time, there is a place for you in this campaign,” she said during a Pennsylvania rally on Wednesday.

“The coalition we have built has room for everyone who is ready to turn the page on the chaos and instability of Donald Trump, and I pledge to you to be a president for all Americans.”

Harris was backed by ex-GOP lawmakers who publicly endorsed her campaign, including former Reps. Adam Kinzinger (IL), Barbara Comstock (VA), and Denver Riggleman (VA); former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan; and Bill Kristol, and others.

“I thank you all for everything you are doing and the courage you are showing,” she said to the conservative turncoats. “This is an extraordinary climate right now and we all recognize the courage you are showing to speak out, so publicly.”

Naturally, she turned her focus on Trump, who she called “increasingly unstable and unhinged,” claiming that he “is seeking unchecked power.”

“Our campaign is not a fight against something, it is a fight for something. It is a fight for the fundamental principles upon which we were founded,” Harris added.

She pointed out that the Bucks County event was held in the same place President George Washington’s troops crossed the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776 during the Revolutionary War.

She attempted to draw a parallel between the historical location and Trump’s alleged disregard for the Constitution.

“The founders often disagreed, often quite passionately, but in the end, the Constitution of the United States laid out the foundations of our democracy,” she said.

“Including the rule of law, that there would be checks and balances, that we would have free and fair elections and a peaceful transfer of power.”

Which she noted was “sustained because generations of Americans from all backgrounds, all beliefs, have cherished them, upheld them and defended them. And now, the baton is in our hands.”

“Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. Yet he refuses to accept the will of the people and the results of a free and fair election,” Harris concluded.

Meanwhile, following a recent economic agenda launch aimed at black men, Harris’s campaign announced the initiative’s broader application on Wednesday.

Initially introduced as the “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men” to strengthen Democratic support among black men, it now promises benefits for all.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the initiative pledged “1 million fully forgivable loans for Black entrepreneurs and others to start businesses,” paired with “educational, training, and mentorship programs for high-paying jobs,”

The program also promised to legalize “recreational marijuana to benefit Black Americans in the burgeoning industry,” and “support for Black men caring for elderly parents.”

On Wednesday, a campaign aid clarified that while the initiative recognizes specific challenges faced by black men, it ultimately aims to support all Americans.

Despite the broad applicability of its programs, Harris’s campaign insists its intentions were transparent, developed to address concerns voiced by black male entrepreneurs, the outlet reported.
