Biden-Harris Campaign Unleashes Secret Weapon for 2024

With just months to go until the election, the Biden-Harris ticket is intensifying efforts to attract a demographic they consider highly influential.

The “Out for Biden-Harris” initiative aims to mobilize LGBTQ+ voters nationwide in an effort to bolster the president’s sagging approval ratings.

Campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez highlighted the significance of this voter segment in a press release, stating, “LGBTQ+ voters are a force to be reckoned with.”

Despite only making up 7.2% of the U.S. adult voting population according to a 2023 Gallup poll, Rodriguez insisted the rainbow community was “critical to our victory in 2020,” and insisted that they will once again “be critical to winning again this November.”

Vice President Kamala Harris was trotted out to encourage the queer community to come out for Biden in a video.

“Rights are won only by those who make their voices heard. And because you made your voices heard, marriages are more secure,” she remarked.

“We will do what we have always done in this movement, in this community, which is collectively, we will continue to build unity,” she rallied.

“We will continue to build coalition. We will always be fueled by knowing we have so much more in common than what separates us. We will be fueled by knowing we are all in this together.”

The campaign touted its record as the most supportive of LGBTQ+ rights of any to date, has placed LGBTQ+ voters at the forefront of their electoral tactics, according to the statement.

They celebrated endorsements from LGBTQ+ nationwide, which Rodriquez said represents nearly 4 million members that will “mobilize equality voters across every battleground state.”

“LGBTQ+ Americans couldn’t have more at stake this election,” Rodriguez insisted.

“There has never been a more critical time to protect the rights of all Americans, no matter who you love or how you identify, and Out for Biden-Harris will be critical to not just safeguarding, but strengthening the rights and voice of every single American,” she added.

“Out for Biden-Harris” is set to launch various events, from digital organizing calls to virtual training, and in-real-life house parties and local community events.
