A fiery confrontation turned a Texas town hall into a scene of shouting, shoving, and security intervention when a conservative TV host unleashed a barrage of verbal attacks on Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett.
A Thursday evening community event in Dallas spiraled into chaos when Sara Gonzales, host of Sara Gonzales Unfiltered on BlazeTV, abruptly stood and began shouting over Crockett during her remarks.
“Jasmine! The people of Dallas deserve better than a fake ghetto hoodrat!” Gonzales yelled from the audience.
She then followed up with, “Do they know you’re a rich kid from Missouri? Do they know you’re a spoiled rich kid from Missouri?”

Witnesses say members of the crowd quickly reacted, yelling at Gonzales to leave and physically moving her toward the exit.
“Don’t touch me! Get her off me! Get off me! Get the f**k off me!” Gonzales screamed as security personnel and attendees pushed her toward the door.
Even while being removed, she continued to fire verbal shots at Crockett: “Do your people know you’re a spoiled rich kid from Missouri?”
Crockett’s background includes growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, where she attended a private high school with a tuition of around $55,000 per year.
She later earned degrees from universities in Tennessee and Texas before becoming a public defender in Bowie County and eventually launching her political career.
Authorities ordered Gonzales to leave the premises immediately, warning her that refusal could result in handcuffs.
Online, she appeared unapologetic, posting a montage of the incident with the caption, “I confronted Jasmine Crockett at a town hall for being a fake hoodrat.”
The disruptive outburst comes as Crockett has been making headlines for her recent inflammatory comments and high-profile media appearances.
In one recent statement, Crockett said that even when Black voters share conservative values, many refuse to align with the GOP because they “can’t hang out with the KKK.”
🚨NEW: Jasmine Crockett:
"Most black people are not Republicans simply because we just is like, 'Y'all racist. I can't hang out with the KKK and them.'"

“I talk to black folk all the time, as somebody who’s the child of a preacher,” Crockett said. “Listen, most black people are not Republicans simply because we just is like, ‘Y’all racist. I can’t hang out with the KKK and them.’”
“Most black people have very conservative values, right?” she continued. “But the reality is that, like, we just can’t side with, like, the neo-Nazis and them! We not dealing with y’all like that.”
Crockett has also been outspoken about Republican-led redistricting in her home state.
In a Tuesday interview on MSNBC’s The Beat, she said the changes were an attempt to roll back gains made since the Voting Rights Act.
“We know that black folk come from a long history as it relates to the Civil Rights Movement,” she told the network.
“When you know that people bled, when they died, when there were water hoses and dogs put on them,” Crockett continued. “These are the images that are seared in our brains when we think through the history of what it took to get us here.”
“And as only the 55th black woman to ever be elected to the U.S. House, I can tell you that there is so much more work to do,” she added.
The Texas Democrat echoed similar concerns on CNN’s The Lead, accusing Republicans of trying to “systemically get rid” of Black lawmakers.
“When it comes to our base, they want to see a fight,” she said. “They want to minimize voices. They want to systemically get rid of those black electeds.”
Crockett warned that states like Florida, Texas, Indiana, and Missouri were already seeing aggressive moves to shift representation.
“They have already decided that the only way that they can win, because they have failed policies, is by making sure that they can cheat their way,” she claimed, adding that such tactics violated both the Constitution and the Voting Rights Act.
The Dallas congresswoman has also called for sweeping structural changes if Democrats regain control of Washington.
At the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival earlier this month, she pushed for expanding the Supreme Court, claiming it was necessary to counteract what she sees as hardline conservative dominance.
“If we are going to have some consistency in this country and not allow the pendulum to shift so hard from one side to the other, then once the Democrats get control, they gon’ have to do something,” she said.
“If these evil minions can get into position and break everything and hurt people, the least we can do if people trust us is if we get in and do half as much to help people.”
She urged fellow Democrats to “get bold” about court expansion, judicial ethics reforms, voting rights protections, and changes to the filibuster.
“We don’t get no other rights if we don’t have voting rights,” she warned, pointing to Texas’ redistricting plan, which could give Republicans as many as five more House seats.
