White House Mocks Dem For ‘Cryin’ Over ICE Raid at Cannabis Farm

3 mins read

The White House lashed out at Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) on Friday after the lawmaker blasted a headline-making immigration enforcement operation targeting a Southern California marijuana facility.

On the social media platform X, the official White House account posted a doctored image of Gomez in tears, mocking the lawmaker with the caption: “Cryin’ Jimmy.”

The message read, “ICE: Raids marijuana farms filled with illegal aliens,” followed by a satirical jab at Gomez.

“Cryin’ Jimmy: ‘ThEy’Re JuSt StRaWbErRy PiCkErS,'” the post concluded. “That ain’t produce, holmes. THAT’S PRODUCT.”

Gomez had taken to social media to slam President Donald Trump over the raid, accusing him of breaking his promise to target only violent criminals.

“How many MS-13 gang members are waking up at 3 a.m. to pick strawberries? O’yeah, zero!” Gomez posted.

“Trump said he’d go after ‘bad hombres,’ but he’s targeting the immigrant farm workers who feed America. Either he lied — or he can’t tell the difference.”

The raid, which took place in Camarillo, California, was led by federal immigration agents and National Guard personnel.

According to local media, dozens of arrests were made, including multiple minors suspected of being in the country illegally.

Video footage showed chaos as tear gas was deployed and individuals scattered from the scene.

White House officials wasted no time defending the operation. Vice President J.D. Vance chimed in, stating, “Democrats are having a fit because we’re enforcing our laws against people working at a weed farm.”

Steven Cheung, White House Communications Director, also weighed in, hilariously responding to Gomez’s complaints.

“Jimmy Gomez must be getting high off that Strawberry Kush because this is a weed farm found to have exploited juveniles here illegally.”

Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott later confirmed that ten underage illegal immigrants had been discovered at the marijuana-growing facility, noting that the site is “now under investigation for child labor violations.”

Glass House Farms, the company tied to the operation, released a statement denying knowledge of any underage workers and claiming full compliance with federal search warrants.

Public records show that the company’s president, Graham Farrar, has been a steady donor to prominent Democrats, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and Assemblymember Gregg Hart.

Governor Newsom quickly retaliated on social media, calling Trump “the real scum” while sharing video footage from the raid.

“Kids running from tear gas, crying on the phone because their mother was just taken from the fields,” he wrote. “Trump calls me ‘Newscum’ — but he’s the real scum.”

Commissioner Scott fired back, stating: “Here’s some breaking news: 10 juveniles were found at this marijuana facility — all illegal aliens, 8 of them unaccompanied. It’s now under investigation for child labor violations. This is Newsom’s California.”

The Department of Homeland Security joined the fray, asking in a direct social media post, “Why are there children working at a marijuana facility, Gavin?”

Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin confirmed the nature of the alleged crimes.

“At the Ventura, California marijuana facility, @ICEgov and @CBP law enforcement rescued 8 unaccompanied migrant children from what looks like exploitation, violation of child labor laws and potentially human trafficking or smuggling,” she wrote.

Tensions escalated further when a protester allegedly fired at federal officers during one of the raids.

The FBI announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Conservative account Libs of TikTok questioned Governor Newsom’s silence regarding the violent resistance to ICE.

“Of course I condemn any assault on law enforcement, you s**t poster. Now do Jan 6,” Newsom responded.

Libs of TikTok hit back, “Not a single cop or officer was fired upon on January 6th you lying, greasy, slimy weirdo.”

Tom Homan, Trump’s appointed border czar and former acting ICE director, joined the defense of federal agents, warning that the line between protest and criminality was being ignored.

“They certainly can’t put hands on an agent. That’s a felony,” Homan told Fox News.

“What happened in California is another example of protesters becoming criminals, and they’ve been emboldened by members of Congress who compared ICE to Nazis and racists and terrorists.”

“They hate President Trump more than they love their community,” he continued.

“They hate President Trump more than they want safe communities.”

In response to the administration’s actions, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass issued an executive order instructing city agencies to compile information on immigration enforcement efforts and their associated costs.

“Under my new Executive Order, I am submitting a request under the Freedom of Information Act about when and where enforcement activities have taken place in LA, the identities of individuals and reason they were arrested or detained,” Bass wrote.

“We will also be requesting information exposing how much these raids cost taxpayers nationwide.”

Her order instructs departments to prepare enforcement readiness plans within two weeks.

It also establishes a task force made up of police officials, immigrant advocates, and city agencies to coordinate responses to future immigration raids and policies.

  1. Does anyone else find it ‘interesting’ that those ‘mostly peaceful protestors’ just happen to show up when an ICE raid occurs? It is ‘almost’ as if they are getting tipped off.
