Former Vice President Kamala Harris has wasted little time securing her next move after her failed 2024 presidential bid, signing with a powerful Hollywood talent agency.
The move, which focuses on speaking engagements and book deals, signals that Harris is more interested in monetizing her political career than addressing the concerns of the American people.
Creative Artists Agency (CAA) confirmed the partnership in a statement on Tuesday, saying the agency will work “in all areas, focusing on speaking engagements and publishing.”
“CAA will work closely with Harris on her post-White House initiatives, creating strategic opportunities that expand her platform in support of the issues she has championed throughout her decades-long career in public service,” the company stated.
Harris, whose tenure as vice president was widely criticized for its mismanagement of the border crisis and economic failures, appears to be following the well-worn path of other Democratic politicians who have cashed in on their time in office.
This isn’t Harris’s first time working with CAA. The agency previously represented her during her time as a California senator, before she became Joe Biden’s running mate in 2020.
CAA also represents former President Biden, who recently signed with the agency, as well as former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
With their deep ties to the entertainment industry, these high-profile Democrats continue to enjoy lucrative book deals, Netflix contracts, and highly paid speaking engagements—far removed from the struggles of everyday Americans.
Political Future in Question
While Harris has remained relatively quiet about her next political move since losing to President Trump in November, she remains a potential Democratic front-runner for California’s 2026 gubernatorial race.
According to a recent Emerson College Polling/Inside California Politics/The Hill survey, Harris would be the top contender if she chose to enter the race.
However, when asked about a potential run earlier this month, Harris avoided giving a direct answer.
“I have been home for two weeks and three days,” Harris said. “My plans are to be in touch with my community, to be in touch with the leaders and figure out what I can do to support them.”
Despite her vague remarks, Harris’s decision to sign with a major talent agency raises questions about her priorities.
Rather than focusing on public service or taking accountability for the failures of the previous administration, she appears to be positioning herself for a future filled with high-profile media appearances and hefty speaking fees.
She should be superbly qualified as an actor. Feather brained, corrupt, and left wing.
Haha, you said that right…😁
Very reminiscent of the path old Killary took when she finally realized her political wet dreams were finished. Might as well make money spewing your communist crap. Identity politics never ends for demonRATS. She won’t be Californias next governor either. The public smells the blood in the water. Her baggage will sink her.
People would actually spend money to see her babble
