Border patrol expert Tom Homan dropped a bombshell, suggesting that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) might have interfered with immigration enforcement efforts by giving unauthorized immigrants tips on how to handle encounters with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
On Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez hosted a live, hour-long webinar titled “Know Your Rights” on her official government Facebook page. The session reportedly aimed to equip unauthorized immigrants with strategies to deal with ICE during deportation efforts.
Following the session, Ocasio-Cortez shared detailed advice in both English and Spanish on her social media platforms.
Her pointers included instructions for individuals to avoid opening their doors for ICE agents, to ask agents to leave, to refrain from speaking or sharing personal details, to avoid signing any documents, and to consult a lawyer for legal advice.
Addressing criticism, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “If you’re pissed that I’m educating the people of this country of their Constitutional rights, that’s on you. And yes, immigrants have rights too. This is the LAND of the free.”
By Thursday, Homan had responded, demanding the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigate the congresswoman’s actions while speaking to Fox News’ Laura Ingraham.
“I sent an email today to the deputy attorney general today,” Homan said. “At what level is that impediment? Is that impeding our law enforcement efforts? If so, what are we going to do about it? Is she crossing the line? I’m working with the DOJ to find out,” he continued.
“I’m not a prosecutor, but we need some further guidance on that. But again, if we have to take every federal dollar out of the city, we’ll do it. I mean, we’re done,” Homan remarked during a Fox News interview.
He added, “So maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now, but I need the AOG to opine on that. Impediment is impediment, in my opinion.”

Ocasio-Cortez did not hold back when clapping back on X (formerly known as Twitter). She wrote, “‘MaYbe shE’s goiNg to be in TroUble nOw.’ Maybe he can learn to read. The Constitution would be a good place to start. Believe it or not, in America EVERYONE has rights.”
But Friday brought an unexpected twist — Homan and Democratic Mayor Eric Adams of New York City announced a joint effort to address illegal immigration within the city.
Appearing together in a Fox & Friends interview, Homan praised Adams for stepping up to tackle public safety concerns.
“I’ve been on this network for four years, and I’ve called the mayor out many times for not stepping up when it comes to public safety threats,” Homan said. “But I tell you, when I sat down with him, I saw the cop in him, and he really does want to do the right thing.”
Adams, meanwhile, acknowledged years of challenging immigration-related issues in New York City and said he welcomes Homan’s expertise.
“We need to go after these dangerous people in our streets, and now I have someone that understands that narrative, and we are fighting together to get it done,” the mayor stated.
The two shared details of their new initiatives, which include reviving an ICE office on Rikers Island, the city’s largest jail. The facility will serve as a base where ICE agents can collaborate directly with NYPD officers to identify and track dangerous undocumented individuals.
Adams explained, “I’m able to do an executive order to put them back on Rikers Island where they should be with part of our criminal justice apparatus.”
Homan called this development “a game changer,” noting that the new office would allow for better intelligence sharing between federal and local authorities, especially concerning gang movements like those of the Tren de Aragua (TdA).
“Not only will we get the bad guys when they hit the street, the intelligence of how TDA operates, where they’re operating, all this intelligence they gather at Rikers we’ll have access to,” Homan said.
They’re also exploring ways to bypass New York City’s sanctuary policies, which currently hinder ICE and NYPD from collaborating on civil immigration cases.
Homan noted the challenges caused by these laws, saying, “Mayor Adams, he’s dealing with these sanctuary law right? Though an executive order from the mayor cannot rid the city of its sanctuary laws.”
Adams reiterated that they are working to find solutions. “We’re continuing to close them down,” he said, referring to temporary migrant shelters operating across the city. “We have to close down as the population decrease.”
Federal funding for these shelters, which dried up during the Trump administration, appears to remain an issue.
Homan made it clear he would not back away from any promises made by Adams. “If he doesn’t come through … I’ll be in his office, up his butt, saying, ‘Where the hell is the agreement we came to?’” he said with a wry smile.

AOC is one of the worst in Congress and about the dumbest. The rag head, Omar, is a close second and both are encouraging illegals to fight deportation. Isn’t that illegal for them to do especially in their positions? And when is someone going to look into how Omar entered the USA? Obviously. she hates it here but marrying her brother to get here? Then it falls apart after she is allowed in? Fake and fraudulent. She should be investigated, trialed for immigration fraud and deported herself. We don’t need troublemakers like her. Send her back to her own country, she is not the kind of person who should even be in the USA. Who the hell let her in? That is where you need to begin the investigation!1 Now not later, she has already been here far too long!
Well, she wasn’t telling them how to vote. Yet. That’s next.
Illegal immigrants, also known as “foreign country invaders”. HAVE NO RIGHTS”. And AOC is blatantly violating 8 U.S. Code Sec. 1327 for every illegal alien she has informed how to avoid being deported. The financial penalty and prison term is for each offense. Border Patrol Director Homan has the authority to call for her arrest and prosecution. Hopefully A.G Bondi will be dealing with this crime very soon. LOCK HER UP. !!!
