Trump Boldly Airs Administrative Blacklist

1 min read

President-elect Donald Trump made it clear on Wednesday that he will not consider individuals affiliated with a host of Republican critics for his administration.

The move underscores Trump’s commitment to surrounding himself with allies who align with his vision and have consistently supported his leadership.

“As of today, the incoming Trump Administration has hired over 1,000 people for The United States Government. They are outstanding in every way, and you will see the fruits of their labor over the coming years,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

In a pointed message, Trump emphasized the importance of vetting potential hires to avoid individuals tied to critics within the Republican Party.

“In order to save time, money, and effort,” Trump added, it would be helpful if those recommending candidates refrained from suggesting individuals who worked with figures such as former Vice President Mike Pence, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (R).”

Trump’s list of those excluded from consideration includes prominent GOP figures who have been critical of him or distanced themselves politically.

Among them are Pence and Haley, both of whom challenged Trump during the 2024 Republican primary, and the Cheneys, who endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in November’s general election.

Trump also named former Vice President Dick Cheney, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), former Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), and GOP donor Charles Koch.

Trump’s loyalty-first approach extends beyond his political rivals.

He also ruled out several officials from his first administration, including former national security adviser John Bolton, former Defense Secretary James Mattis, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, and former Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

Trump has repeatedly criticized these individuals for their perceived disloyalty or opposition to his policies.

The president-elect’s announcement follows a report in The New York Times revealing that Trump recently consulted with Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito regarding a potential hire.

The candidate in question, William Levi, previously served as chief of staff to former Attorney General Bill Barr.

Although Barr was appointed by Trump, he later fell out of favor for rejecting Trump’s claims of election fraud in 2020, making Levi a controversial choice among Trump allies.

  1. Pence and Haley didn’t “challenge” Trump. They betrayed him. He gave both of them tremendous opportunities and they stabbed him in the back. He is smart not to include their fellow backstabbers in his new administration

  2. During Trumps first election he was not a savy politician. He was an experienced business man and that left him open and vulnerable to GOP Elitists better known as Rinos. They lied to him. They conspired to fill his administration with moles that would report back to the GOP old white guys club. It took months to recognize them and get rid of them. This time around he will not be fooled. In the 2024 election the American people gave Trump a mandate to “clean up D.C. and the entire government riding it of the stinking corruption that it has become infected with. He hasn’t even been sworn in but has made waves already about his intensions to keep his promises. I am not sure if the Left can keep any of his choices for his Cabinet from being approved but if they do HELL WILL BE PAID because Faux Joe just rehired all of Obama’s cabinet to the detriment of the nation. Trump wants qualified “patriots” not communist traitors.
