Trump Already Prepping ‘Dictator’ Day One Actions

1 min read

President-elect Donald Trump is gearing up to immediately implement bold changes to the country’s immigration, energy, and foreign policies.

Trump’s advisors confirm that his “day one” agenda will focus on using executive power decisively, especially in addressing border security and reasserting a strong “America First” foreign policy stance.

Late last year, Trump mockingly suggested he would not rule as a dictator “except for day one,” a sign he intends to use executive authority aggressively to implement changes to immigration policy in particular.

Senior advisor Jason Miller emphasized how Trump can swiftly reinstate certain immigration measures, noting they don’t require new legislation but simply “flipping the switch” on policies that were already effective before.

Trump has promised to launch what he describes as the “largest deportation program in American history” as a core element of his immigration agenda, prioritizing the removal of undocumented individuals with criminal records.

Further, Trump plans to reintroduce policies like the “Remain in Mexico” program and continue border wall construction.

Foreign policy is another area where Trump has pledged to bring sweeping change, vowing to re-establish America’s focus on its own interests over foreign entanglements.

He has repeatedly criticized Biden’s heavy involvement in Ukraine’s conflict with Russia and suggested he could negotiate peace swiftly, although specifics remain unclear at this time.

Trump’s stance has raised concerns among European allies, as some fear he may reduce support for NATO, an alliance he has scrutinized over member nations’ defense spending.

Trump has also taken a hard line on the Department of Justice’s handling of political cases, particularly those involving his own supporters.

He has voiced strong intentions to pardon individuals prosecuted for their actions on January 6, 2021, framing these cases as unjust and politically motivated.

“The moment we win, we will rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner unjustly victimized by the Harris regime. And I will sign their pardons on day one,” Trump said at a September rally.

In a controversial statement, Trump suggested he would target Democrat-led district attorneys in cities like Chicago and San Francisco, proposing federal subpoenas to investigate whether their policies have infringed on civil rights.

“In Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and every other city where these maniacs have taken over, the DA’s offices should face federal subpoenas of their staff, their emails, and their records to determine whether they have blatantly violated federal civil rights law,” Trump said in a campaign video last year.
