Over the weekend, Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) expressed his confidence that former President Donald Trump will emerge victorious on Tuesday, with the Republican Party poised to secure key Senate seats.
Scott shared his prediction during a CNN “State of the Union” interview with Dana Bash, when she asked what he thought about Trump’s chances to retake the White House.
“I will just tell you that the voters I sat down with in Detroit, Michigan, on Tuesday, Ohio on Wednesday, and Philly on Thursday — African-Americans, Hispanics, Jewish voters all seem to have momentum behind Donald Trump,” he replied.
“It’s going to be a very, very good day for Donald Trump on Tuesday,” Scott added.
The South Carolina Republican was also optimistic about several Senate races in battleground states.
Senator @votetimscott: We’re looking forward to a very good day on Tuesday. I’m excited to see the battleground states are all leaning towards Trump. So, the good news is, Donald Trump will be our next president. pic.twitter.com/nAz8AV7d2K

“McCormick will win Pennsylvania without question, Bernie Moreno will win Ohio. And I’m really confident that Mike Rogers will win Michigan as well,” he listed off.
Scott attributed his confidence to Republican stances on border control, crime prevention, and school choice, resonating with voters.
Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley also voiced his belief in Trump’s Electoral College triumph, during a NewsNation interview with Chris Stirewalt.
“We certainly have a great shot at winning the national vote, but I think more importantly is that we are going into Election Day with leads in Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina and Georgia, and we are doing substantially better in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania than we were in either 2016 or in 2020,” he remarked.
Whatley believes Trump is in “a great position” to win on Tuesday, noting his active campaigning across battleground states, directly engaging with American voters on their key issues.
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris cautioned that the Election Day scenario that happened in 2020 might recur again on Tuesday, with the winner not decided the same day.
“The margins are going to be close, but our campaign is on track to win this election. Americans all across the country are casting their votes in record numbers, ready to turn the page,” Harris tweeted.
“It will take time to count every vote, and there may be swings in the count along the way.”
Scott was my pick for VP. With Haley for P.
Aw gee, so sad!
My pick has always been Trump for President, Scott for VP. At this point, all we can do is pray for a Republican victory November 5, regardless of who the candidates are.
